Our goal and method
Our Goal
Our goal is to help patients achieve oral health, chew properly, and smile with
confidence. Our office provides comprehensive oral and dental care for patients in
accordance with their individual needs. Thorough examination and accurate diagnosis are
the first step, and medical conditions are fully considered in regard to their effect on dental
treatment. The patient’s schedule and budget are also taken into consideration, and any
treatment we can not personally provide is referred to the most reputable, time-proven
specialists. We use only the most predictable, modern, safe, and scientific methods and
follow through on all treatments to ensure their proper completion. We aim for long
lasting results; our previous patients can attest to our success in achieving that! After
treatment, only basic maintenance and prevention should be necessary. We take the time
to explain to patients how to care for their mouth, preserve their teeth and restorations,
and prevent further damage. Dr. G has been doing cancer exams, fluoride treatments,
sealants cosmetics and much more for over 35 years!
Method
“New Patients First Visit”
- Full Mouth Series Digital X-Rays
- Complete Prophylaxis (“Periodontal cleaning”)
- Fluoride application
- Complete Exam & Evaluation
- Hi-tech Software is used for radiograph analysis
We leave up to 2 hours for this first visit. If treatment is necessary, we set up a
mutually acceptable treatment plan within the patient’s budget. We then decide the
time-frame and sequence. Dr. G prefers completing treatment within as short a time
as possible, proper, and practical. Many patients have been happy to spend a few half
day visits to finish extensive treatment! They are not only comfortable but, when
necessary, provided with food (a nutritious shake)! This not only saves travel
and other wasted time but actually decreases the amount of local anesthetic
administered, and decreases problems between visits. Once a patient is satisfied with
a healthy mouth, he or she is contacted regularly for “continuing care” checkups and
cleanings.
